About the artist
Taylor Garcia is a multi-faceted person (or, illustrator/marketing professional/eccentric(?)/graphic designer/museum rat, depending on who you are,) with a degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and ESL teaching certification from Cambridge University.
She moved to Iceland in 2015 (by means of an adventure, as you do,), and enjoys ink mediums and painting on anything that will hold still. (..And some things that don't.)
She enjoys going places, photography, meeting new people, collaborating, and, collecting experiences. She is interested in learning about stained glass, and takes commissions on an open basis.
Current mediums being explored: (updated on 17/3/17) Needlecrafts, digital painting, printmaking with hand carved linoleum blocks, nighttime photography and portraiture with prime lenses, costume making (with a focus on thermoplastics, foam craft, and, resins), performative arts, body painting, and, comic art.
